AM: Parade Competition (First band steps off at 9:50 AM)

The
parade begins at Grand and Junipero Avenues then proceeds east on Pine Avenue, past Robert Down School ("A") to 8th Street after staging behind PG Middle School ("B"). Top high school bands from Central California compete for awards in music and marching in this part of the competition.

AM- 5PM: Concert and Jazz Band Competition
ADMISSION:
Included in festival admission ($7). Held at Pacific Grove Middle School Auditorium. Top High School Jazz Ensembles and Concert Bands in compete for awards in music.

PM (estimated time) Drill Down Competition/College Band Exhibition/Parade Awards Ceremony

Held
at Howard Cowen-Breaker Stadium at Congress and Sunset Avenues ("C"). Individual band members compete in an open drill down. This is an open competition for awards in marching skill. This may be followed by a college marching band exhibition. Lastly, awards are presented to the winners of the parade competition in a colorful, ceremonial presentation.

PM Field Show Competition

Adults: $7.00 // Students 12 and under with an adult: FREE
Held
at Howard Cowen-Breaker Stadium. The event begins with the playing of the National Anthem at 4:45 PM by our "Breaker Band." The first bnads steps off to compete at 5 PM. All bands, drum majors, tall flag units, majorettes, and ID units perform in competition for your enjoyment.

PM (estimated time) College Band Exhibition/Drill Down Competition/Field Show Awards Ceremony
ADMISSION:
Included in above admission at the same location. If available, a college marching band may perform an exhibition followed by a formal (in uniform) drill down and the parade awards ceremony. Awards are presented to the winners of the field show competition and the overall winner of the both events in a colorful ceremony.
